Biogas Innovation: Clean and Circular Energy from Organic Waste
At POPLAC DEVELOPMENT, we are a research and engineering laboratory dedicated to the design and development of advanced bioreactor systems for biogas production. We take advantage of organic waste such as sargassum, posidonia, rúguloix, straw and other biodegradable materials, converting them into a renewable and sustainable energy source that drives the transition to a circular economy.
Our Approach to Biogas
Through the implementation of bioreactors designed with state-of-the-art technology, we optimize the anaerobic digestion process to transform organic waste into biogas, a mixture rich in methane and carbon dioxide that can be used as a clean fuel for power or heat generation. In addition, our process produces biofertilizers as a by-product, closing the waste utilization cycle.
